Over the last few weeks our mailbox has been stuffed with brown envelopes containing multiple used copies of the book Stuart Little.  Some of our students will be reading this book this summer in guided reading groups.  When I opened one of the nondescript brown envelopes a check fell out–made out to PTM for $100–from a woman in Ohio.  It continues to amaze me and build my faith to see God provide for PTM in unexpected ways.  This woman without any direct contact with PTM (maybe she looked us up online ) sent a significant contribution and will probably never see the impact it will make.  This kind of generosity happens over and over reminding me that God is a faithful provider who uses faithful people to care for his children.
