100_2869 (1)I loved doing the internship this summer!  It gave me the opportunity to see what having a real job is like.  I had real co-workers and also a supervisor/boss.  I highly recommend doing the internship for anyone in the future.

The internship has been a great experience for me.  It has introduced me to new work ethics and techniques that can help me later on in life.  The internship is inspiring me to not give up in life and keep on pushing for what I would like.  Nothing will ever be handed to you.  The world is yours, just go out there and get it.

My overall experience at The Contributor this summer has been enjoyable.  Most of the vendors were very kind to me, even when I use to make mistakes in the beginning.  My favorite thing to do at work is to assist with VTC’s (Vendor Training Classes) and graduation.  My least favorite thing to do is to scan all of the vendor files into the computer.  I am going to miss the staff and vendors when I finish because we were starting to build friendships.  One of my favorite vendors is Donna B. (name changed).  She always came into the office with a positive attitude and always puts me in a better mood.  I will never forget how John made sure that I at least talked once a day and made me feel comfortable around everyone.  I am really glad that I got the opportunity to enjoy this experience and put a positive effect on people’s lives.

In all of my years at PTM I never knew how hard it would be to work here.  It was a fun experience!  I love the kids’ energy and their support.  Working at PTM helped me learn more about kids – how they are different in so many ways.  I was blessed with the opportunity to work at PTM.  It taught me to respect my teachers and leaders more.  It really helped me see how I want to further my career.  The internship helped me grow up and mature a lot more.  If I had the chance to work at PTM again I would take it!

My overall experience as an intern this summer was fun.  I really enjoyed getting to know my supervisor, Ms. Natalie, and my co-workers, Kelly and Anna.  The hardest thing I had to do was unpack boxes and take out the trash.  The most fun thing I did was going to clients’ houses and setting things up for them.  I also enjoyed putting lamps together and seeing what they look like.  I learned how to make different colors look better by simple flowers or designs.  I enjoyed getting to know other people in my work office. They were really sweet.  I learned how to order materials online and enter information into a computer.  My manager provided lunch for us on Mondays and we got to have Panera each week.  The internship was a very lovely experience.

My summer as an intern was awesome.  I love the job I attended.  My supervisor,Michael, has done a good job teaching me how to do my job.  I learned how to pull weeds, garden, move furniture and other maintenance skills.  My favorite thing about my job at the apartment complex was picking up trash around the apartments and emptying my trash can.  The part of my job I enjoyed the least was cleaning up the mess from toilets that overflow.  I had to be at work at 8 a.m. every morning and am proud that I was never late!
