Spring Break in the Marketplace

Our goal is to provide 5th-12th grade students with positive, professional interactions, an awareness of career options, and an appreciation for the sacrifice and work required to succeed in certain career fields. Students will partake in an application process, as well as an series of seminars on developing job skills where they will learn about appropriate work attire, interview skills, and general professionalism. Each career experience will be one-on-one with a volunteer who is willing to spend 2-4 hours showing a student their workplace and teaching a little about that particular career.
